Selina Kyle hightails it out of Gotham for Rome and takes along Edward “the Riddler” Nygma (Eddie as she refers to him), again the reason is unclear and the meet a hitman, the Blonde, who sets up a meeting between Selina and Don Verinni, the capo of the Italian mob. All we know that it has to do with her past and relates to the infamous Falcone crime family. More importantly it covers the time in Dark Victory that Catwoman was missing.Īs we come to find out Catwoman was in Rome, but for most of the story we are not exactly sure why (stay tuned). When in Rome was a six month mini-series that served to fill the void between Jeph Loeb’s and Tim Sale’s Eisener Award winning collaboration on Batman: the Long Halloween and Batman: Dark Victory.
